An origin story

Physicist: Back in May I advertised a Story Collider thing in LA where I talked about doing the Ask a Mathematician / Ask a Physicist booth at Burning Man and some of the folk we met there.  Story Collider collects these recordings and when they’ve got a few that fit together into a theme, they produce a podcast episode.

And that’s exactly what’s happened!  You can hear the episode here.

Before you ask, the shirt says “∃x : I♥x” which is mathspeak for “there exists x such that I love x”; a statement which is demonstrably true.

I have been intentionally holding back on bugging you with every dumb guy physics question that’s crossed my mind. Now you tell us how you do exactly that (minus the dumb guy part) with everyone including your dentist? You done messed up!

    Hey!

Props for your Burning Man podcast…informative and funny!
I like the way your mind works as evidenced by your writing
at this web site and the ‘cast.
Please keep the articles coming…they’re much appreciated
    by my can’t-(won’t?)-get-past-synthetic-geometry mind.
